In communities where healthcare facilities can be hours away on foot, our Global Health Unit and OPHID (Organisation for Public Health Interventions and Development) are helping to transform access to care. This innovative collaboration brings essential non-communicable disease (NCD) care directly to remote Zimbabwean villages through dedicated Community Outreach Agents, some who travel up to 60km weekly by bicycle to reach patients. This is sustainable access to healthcare in action.
